Southern California native Dallas Wand is co-founder and Creative Director of cult women’s wear label Stone Cold Fox. Partnering with a childhood friend, Dallas built the brand at just 23 years old. Stone Cold Fox struck a chord with young females, propelling the brand to “It Girl” status for over a decade. Inspired by her favorite muses from fashion history, Dallas insisted that SCF’s designs always needed to tell a story.
Dallas brought her sense of style and attention to detail to all aspects of her Venice, California based company. This included collaborating on design, overseeing manufacturing and production, and opening and operating multiple retail stores. Additionally, Dallas was the creative force behind the brand’s marketing. She led their strategic partnership opportunities, produced SCF’s photo shoots and guided the brand’s overall consumer-facing vision. Along the way, she built strong relationships with manufacturers as well as retailers like Revolve, Free People and Planet Blue, to name a few. Inside the company, she fostered a work environment that was creative, fun, and supportive, lifting up other women and always leading by example.
Last year, Dallas joined Logan Hollowell Fine Jewelry as Creative Director, producing their campaigns and shaping all extensions of the fast-rising company as it scales up into a lifestyle brand. As she did at Stone Cold Fox, Dallas ensures these brand extensions feel consistent with the story Logan has told so successfully with her jewelry designs.
Always curious about new industries, Dallas brings her creativity to the world of hospitality, joining the iconic The Georgian Hotel, newly renovated in Santa Monica. Serving as a key Culture Creator and Guest Experience partner, her responsibilities include attracting new business to The Georgian, building out a strategy for marketing and communications, advising on hospitality programming, events, and business development, while also serving as a brand ambassador. And, as a bonus, she gets to be close to the beach… her happy place.
STONE COLD FOX
Stone Cold Fox was founded in 2009 by Dallas Wand & Cydney Morris. The California natives had a vision of creating vintage-inspired clothing with a fresh twist, something they felt the fashion industry lacked. Being deeply dedicated to style and imagery, the founders thought it was incredibly important to translate these designs into something tangible. What started on a made-to-order basis quickly grew through word of mouth and it wasn’t long before the company caught the eyes of celebrities, bloggers, and leading retailers. With over 450,000 organic followers on social media, the brand and its founders brought a unique aesthetic to the fashion industry.
Major brands and retailers wanted to collaborate with Stone Cold Fox to leverage the brand’s name. SCF worked with numerous popular retailers, both nationally and internationally, and curated one-of-a-kind pieces across multiple categories such as swim, belts, shoes, homewares and stationery with each collar proving to be a success. This solidified SCF as not only a women’s clothing brand, but also a women’s lifestyle brand.
Stone Cold Fox also maintained an element of custom bridal exclusivity. Known to be chic and non-traditional, this aspect was the strongest for the company and was always in high demand.
